Unione Italiana Apolidi is a non-profit association with the aim of improving the situation of stateless persons in Italy by informing and raising public awareness through advocacy campaigns, in order to create a new bond of solidarity between fragmented stateless communities and public institutions.

The strength of UNIA lies not only in the values we stand for, but above all in our concrete initiatives. As an ETS Association, we have realised that with collaboration the best results can be achieved. That is why in 2022 we decided to found the Unione Italiana Apolidi ETS.

Unione Italiana Apolidi is among the ten organisations selected this year through the call "PartecipAzione", the programme of INTERSOS and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, which promotes the active participation of refugee people in economic, social and cultural life in Italy.
